997

There are:

Standard seats, Sports seats, Adaptive sports seats.

I'd want to sit in them before I made a decision.

after a lot of deliberation my 997S spec is now confirmed
- basalt/black leather
- sat nav and phone
- bose
- Cd changer
- heated seats
- rear wiper
- sport chrono

October build which I guess means Nov delivery.

The only thing I have slight misgivings about is the sport chrono - definitely worth having given its functions - but if only it looked less tacky!!

Is rear wipe extra?

How about sun roof?

I see that metallic is extra.

Invisible additional costs?

Vimal,
you have missed a crucial extra (not available for the 997 Carrera, but is for the "S")..
THE SPORTS EXHAUST, I know it's another £1160, but you MUST have one!!!!
I'd also add the sports seat's with crests, cruise (for the camera's!) & TPMS to save having to keep checking the tyre pressures! Not sure about the sport chrono though !
that's the trouble with extra's, they soon add up to a LOT EXTRA !!!!

I suppose you've all checked out the official web page with visuals and sound track? For those who haven't yet - try this http://www2.porsche.com/Precision911/pcgb.asp

grant - did think about the sports exhaust but its not available for the early build cars. It is however retrofittable - and I understand not a lot more expensive than factory fitted. I've also heard that the exhaust on the 997S sounds a lot better than the 996 - will therefore try the car out for a while when it comes and decide at that time

Am I the only one that actually likes the Sports Chrono stopwatch? Everyone seems to be against it, but I think it's quite a nice feature.

P.S From what I've heard, a sports exhaust is definately not needed with the S.
