Interesting .... the traffic wasn't great but the guy driving seems to be an absolute prat. Anyone know which TDO was that with?

Trust me, the chap driving is NO prat.. Hes a VERY good driver....
The traffic was apauling...They just didnt seem to want to look in there mirrors..[8|][8|][8|]
Hats off to 9M that sounds like a VERY VERY good car....

yes, it is a brave man to callum a prat behind the wheel! Trackdays at places like brands indy are always messy!

Definately some should have been looking in their mirrors . But in fairness to others Callum was on a mission and it would have been quite a suprise to some to see him given his speed differential. Personally I am always unsure about the validity of overtaking on bends during a trackday , can't remember if i've been on a Goldtrack day before but i wonder what he tells his punters about overtakes ? I know Callum Lockie is a very good pedller indeed I just wonder if that sort of driving should be confined to a group session of people with similar abilty. Getting monstered if your a novice must put you off a bit. I am of course assuming that quite a few of those on track with him were novices/ intermiediate level drivers?

What ever is all the fuss about,it all looked fine, brands crapy indy circuit is always a busy place.
Everything looked under control, just that callum was catching up on a few others quicker than what they may have been used to.
The car is a nice car, sounds good,. its not a rsr.

Yep, I agree with Paul, dont see any issue with Callum's driving. Thought the Ferrari driver was a little suspect. I think that the car is a hybrid based on a 993rs. It may have the 9M head conversion and other bits and pieces but as Paul says, it's not an RSR. looks a pacey track day car though

agree with comments about the ferrari driver, esp when he indicates left, when people can only overtake on the left? Some of the overtakes into graham hill bend, a bit interesting for a trackday.

watched this car transform from a dipped bare shell to what it is today, imho its an awesome engineered development,
full credit to Colin and Mark at 9M, and the owner who has spent a small fortune to create what he wanted, it is a 993 rs
with numbers, rsr arches and sills, and a very healthy 400bhp + engine, perhaps a brighter colour would of enhanced the look but it is still simply gorgeous [:D]

spent quite a few hours with calum on various Goldtrack days, would say that he is a great coach and clearly very capable.....sure he is getting close to cars in a few instances but if you don't show intent to overtake how are you going to make a slower, less visually aware driver realise it's time to move over, not to mention the loss of momentum to ensure a safe overtake when the opportunity arises.

It is a nice build for sure and full credit to mark for the bodywork etc,and of course colin with the engine etc
Riviera some of your detail is not correct though

Not arguing with his pace or the fact that it is a lovely car, just thought his attitude for a track day (especially his own ....) was interesting. Perhaps something to do with having a female passnger on board.

Its definitely tight for space there and the traffic wasn't the most observant but I would have loved to have been at the briefing when they talked about passing.

was in snowy Canada Paul...didn't want to crowd RivM002 and Vic's style....too much viagra at a track day is never a good thing !

looked like a great day enjoyed by all

cheers.
