I notice you've booked, Mr Smith.

How did you know that, I bet my postman hadn't even emptied the local postbox when you wrote that? [&:]

I have booked for two cars though (it's up to the bodyshop if they have finished and want paying by then [8|] )

Paperwork arrived today, thanks Geoff, we are number 31, Mr Smith? (though I guess all the entrants when parked together will have consecutive numbers ;)

Guys,

Do fancy coming along but couldn't find any information describing the event format etc. Can someone please advice? Is it more of a convoy rather than 'rally'?

Charles

It's an extreme off road course over 200 miles covering special stages of gravel, mud and sand. Geoff has strict time checkpoints that you have to reach at an average of 120mph to get entry to the next stage - it's great fun [:D]

In reality it is a Sunday afternoon drive in the Cotswolds, you will get a mystery route to follow from Cornbury to Ragley Hall and back again, Geoff organises it fantastically and you will not be disappointed. You can leave in a convoy with mates or go it alone as you wish. Inevitably you will catch up some Porsche or be caught by others, it's not a race. Get yourself a two way radio and tune to channel 500 to hear which 944 members have got themselves lost [:D]

And - it's members only....

I thought you were a member, Charles, so your forum status just needs "updating"! [:)]

Seriously, this was a really great day out last year. The 944 Register was the largest turnout, and looks like being the same this year. It DOES sell out, and as is always the way late-comers are disappointed. 2008 looks like being even better than last year, so send your bookings in before it's too late. You get a t-shirt for both driver and passenger in the entry fee, so you really can say "Been there got the........" [:D]

Don't forget Frontrunners, also in April. Hugely improved over the years, the format for 2008 is the best ever and it never ceases to amaze me that any 944 owner who can access the Midlands doesn't show up and join in!

Got my confirmation through and I'm one less ..... 21. Never thought I would be disapointed to be 21 again.

Paul,

Since you mentioned ... Yes I am still a PCGB member and have been trying to update my profile with my membership number but still shown up as a 'Non-member'.

Looks like there is a bug in the profile page. Can you facilitate?
