Anyone used one of these universal A-pillar gauge pods? Wondering how well they fit.

For a "Gaugeshop" they seem to have a bewilderingly small product line - flicking through their menu was very similar to the Monty Python Cheese Shop sketch - no don't tell me what you sell I'm keen to guess.
I'm with the boys above - I think a universal pod is likely to look lashed up. I have been saying for years that I was going to make one out of GRP. I might get around to it one day.
I used a cup type gauge pod and fabricated a new mounting foot.

Fren - You're right, Rick does have one. If I go down this route i'll have to give him a shout.

Maybe I`m missing the point but why do you need to see anything else at that level? I cant believe that on track you have the time (or maybe I`m just cr*p at driving and multi-tasking) [&o]

Not so easy to get a good place to measure oil pressure - Jon M suggested getting a custom piece made up to go in the oil pressure sender hole - I guess you could abandon the factory gauge completely, or get a t-piece to fit the factory sender plus one for an aftermarket gauge.
Oil temperature senders are pretty much universal. Get a second sump plug and have it drilled and threaded to accept the sender. The sender requires one wire as it earths through the case.
Worth having - I must get around to doing one myself.
What might be cool, and easier to accomodate, is a system of LED's . Say blue for cold, green for up to temperature, orange for a bit warmer than you might like and red for over toasty. I wonder if Maplin or someone does one?

The sender sump plug comes as part of the kit and replaces the normal sump plug - assuming ours are M10 plugs. I've not ordered it yet as i've not sussed out whether to get the A pillar gauge pod or the ISO one. If I get the ISO one i'll need to suss out where to put the EBC control panel.
