Alarm problem

thanks for all your help i was thinking could it be the key fob it as been working fine but i noticed about three weeks ago it wasent working all the time and know its just stopped working all together like i said it will not even open the boot are bonnet with the key fob do you know how much a new key would cost and if i buy a new one will it work straight away or will i have to have it reset to work with the car thanks

Have you tried the above?

If you buy a new fob you will have to get the Porsche Dealer to programme it to match your car. (So no, it won't just work).

hi mark yes i have tried all of the above i have been and got a new battery for the key fob and i will give it a go and if that doesn't work it looks like i need a new key fob the trouble is i cant go out in it as i cant lock it up but thanks for all your advice

you can still lock the car with the key in the drivers door

This happened to my key (luckily for me it happened during the checks when I was picking the car up from the dealer).
The dealer arranged to have a new key fob sent to me by Porsche Centre Colchester, It arrived about a week later with a receipt for £91.
I had to take it to Porsche Centre Glasgow to have it programmed to the car and the bill for this was £59

thanks every one for all your help i will have to go and order a new key fob and let them program it in for me i can lock the drivers door with the key but it will not lock the passenger door so the passenger door is open at all times any idies on that one you lot must think i am a right pest
