All your Porsches are crap

ORIGINAL: Peter Empson

I think this is the famous fish tank special edition...

Ah ... the fish tank....I think that's still the one to beat - didn't it have 'nitrous' as well ? [:D]

Here's another one which is an SFS - (Self Found Shitter) to use the Barryboy vernacular, for one I found in Spain a couple of years ago. Apologies if you've seen it before, but it wasnt just the double decker spoiler RS Cosworth spoiler, but the confusing badging, finished with a pink and green steering - what's that about? [:'(]

....and the silver wing mirrors. 4 stud wheels are a bit odd as well . One car that definitely wouldn't be improved with my clear lenses [:(]

Any more SFS's ? [:D][:D]

That reminds me I saw a terrible 924 on the M40 in camouflage paint (looked like some sort of masonry paint). Had white wall tyres and skinny wheels too !!!!! No picture unfortunately :(

This really makes me cry - someone actually started with a real 993. We even let it exhibit at the Porsche festival at Brands....

This really is a kit car..........photo taken at Newark kit car show a few years ago, the door shut lines give it away but it was incredibly authentic and had (IIRC) a Jag 5.3 V12 engine.

W.H.Y ??????

it's 9am and those pics have ruined my day ...
[&:]

good day to all

pjb

that tr7...

Two Pairs of trousers these pics have cost me!...wee weeing...non stop...
or possibly Bladder problems?...

Speaking of convincing replicas .... unlike most of these pics [&:] ... whadya make of THIS ?

At first I thought it was a wind-up - that someone had just posted pics of the real thing? But apparently not.

It's a kit made by Extreme (see the website ere for pics and vids to turn a Peugeot 406 Coupe into a Fewwawi 360. If you are into that sort of this (not me thanks) then I guess this is very convincing.... at least until you spin the front wheels away from the traffic lights of course [] [:D]

I'd rather have something that looked like a Peugeot and went like a Ferrari than the other way around. What is the point?

They should have similar levels of reliability so they are authentic on more than looks alone. [:D]

Seemingly someone paid £19K for a butchered Peugeot though. [][:D]

ok it looks quite nice but what have you got except a £19,000 peugeot! get a nice old 911 for that or an immaculate 944 turbo for far less! just don't get these idiots who spend £5000 on a £1500 corsa [&:]

Im sure most of the people on this site at some point in there life have been one of those people modifying a corsa or something, of course for some of you it would have been model T's and anglia's but just think they are nowour classic cars so when we get old wil Corsa and saxo's be our classic cars? Scarry But getting back to the ferrari looka like wanabe peugeot thing, how about this then??

Based on a Porsche boxster!!!

The handlebar moustach special addition I suppose[:'(]?

Doesn't that sort of thing make it unstable at speed?

Presumably all these dogy add ons start wobbling at anything above crawling pace anyway...

It's starting to grow on me. If it wasn't for the odd buldgy protrubence on the front bumber - Henry IIX cod piece?

I like the French 944 - well the red intercooler pipes at least [:D]
