Sure thing. There will be special displays for those cars that have requested this to mark model anniversaries etc. and they will take pride of place between the Porsche Cars display area and concours. There is a separate area designated for Regional and Register parking but only if the ROs and RSs have requested these areas.
 
Hi Paul,

Just managed to log in to the forum for the first time - after 14 years of pcgb membership and 993RS ownership!

I have a 1995, midnight blue, rhd, 993RS (small wings) and could bring it along if you have room. I was hoping to come on the Saturday but could do the Sunday as a second option - but not both days.

Do you have room left?

By the way...

My car is the one in the photo on the pcgb "993RS Register" home page.

No idea who took the photo or where but I would guess it was at last year's Upton House event?

Hi All,

Peter Bull replied (on another thread) saying...

"There is a 993 RS display of 6 cars displayed within the special Anniversary Display area. The 993RS Register Secretary has not requested a separate 993RS Register parking area."

Do we all know which six 993RS cars are in the display for Saturday and which six are in for Sunday?

I've got weekend tickets ordered now and to be flexible (and helpful) I am prepared to take 93RS one day and 64RS the other as I believe Melv also needs some cars - but just so long as I can have in advance some definite feedback as to which car on which day please.

Hope this will be helpful to everybody and look forward to receiving the necessary response.

Thanks for the reply Melv - so that settles it now and i'll bring along for display the 93RS on the Saturday and the 64RS on the Sunday.

Is there a specific format? Are there any guidelines to follow etc or will details be sent prior to event?

Good question Chris and thankyou -nice to have the choice!!!

-on the assumption you have purchased tickets, apparently we as Register Secretaries will be sent the appropriate display passes to forward or give out on day. So watch this space.....

 
I will be there on the Sunday with a 993RS. I am buying a ticket in advance so can I please also have a display pass?

the club should send you a pass out with your ticket,if not please request one at club office,i dont have any.

please just turn up,the only people to volunteer cars are you guys which have responded on this forum.But you must request display passes from the club office,as i have none Yet!

It seems most cars have been moth balled away.

its also news to me we only have six spaces,hence no register parking was requested as all was to be on display like the 15 year event together.if 6 cars turn up we will be doing well it seems.

I may request melv to help me,as i will not be bringing my 993 rsr now,as i cant get a local campsite for the motorhome tow vehicle which is not allowed into the event!

If you recall the email conversation I had with Mel on the 27th May 2015 which you were privy to I stated:

I am sure we can find a place for the trailer, possible to the rear of the traders area where the vans will be parked.

That offer still stands.

 
Peter,thats a waste of time,as have no where to park the kamper,and no point parking 20 miles away,i suppose i could always walk 20 miles to and fro.

a point of interest there was a lot of people keen to camp,and should be included next time !

 
To all,i have some passes sent through to me today,if you require a pass for the display,either contact me with your address or send a stamped addressed envelope to me,Holly barn,symonds yat,glos,GL167NZ. Or text address to 07809880937.

a couple of points to note,for saturday display your car has to be in place by 10am!

sunday your car has to be in place by 8am!

Steve thats 7 for both days,if it is i am sure we can find space for the extra car,but it sounds like it wont be 7 for both days.
