ALUMINIUM BONNET WANTED

Ok pretty much have everything now! Only need 965 or RSR rear bumper corners and one 965 rear wing. OH AND WOULD LIKE ANOTHER ALUMINIUM BONNET (964 OR 993) IF ANYONE FINDS ONE!!!!

Jason I'm sure I saw a '64/'93 alloy bonnet for sale last week for 2,750EUR - possibly ebay.de?, just had a quick look and can't see it, so I'm either looking in the wrong place or someone has snapped it up.... IMO 2,750EUR seemed a bit rich [] cheers David

Apparently now available from Porsche again at £1,800 plus VAT - can't remember where I saw it (might have been on here !), so can't verify. Just bought a carbon one myself for £495, but it needed £500 of work and paint to make it look right, so probably a false economy versus a better original fit (ie Cargraphic / OE etc .......) Jamie

It's still there but a bit pricey against new

Ali bonnet on ebay Germany - item # 280459617936 (just in case the link doesn't work) [link=http://cgi.ebay.de/Porsche-993-964-RS-Alumnium-haube-Kofferdeckl_W0QQitemZ280459617936QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r?hash=item414cb22690]http://cgi.ebay.de/Porsche-993-964-RS-Alumnium-haube-Kofferdeckl_W0QQitemZ280459617936QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r?hash=item414cb22690[/link] cheers David

I guess it's becoming slightly cheaper due to the slight strengthening of Sterling. Being as the seller doesn't appear to have a queue of people wanting to buy his bonnet I'd be inclined to make him a cheeky offer [;)], at worst he can say no......

What's the latest thinking on fibreglass bonnets? Who is good? Going to need to fit one to Minty at some point.

Bought a carbon one from Performance Trim for c.£400, but fit is not great - had to have about an inch chopped off it ! They claim to be a perfect plug and play but are certainly not, unless they have improved the mould. Otherwise the quality and finish is pretty good. Jamie
