And Hello from me

Mike Pollock? That new login sounds like a load of >ahem< Pollocks - you'll always be A9XXC to me! [:)] Actually, given that Paul was always affectionately known as McNulters then you'll need a nickname too and I propose Pollocks to be suitable. Any objections? Great - that's that settled then!

Bravo on getting the job. Best of luck with it. As you've said, you have some very large shoes to fill. However you own an example of the finest model of 944 ever made so you're off to a flying start.

Oli.

Actually - serious suggestion - you need to put something like "The Member Formally Known As A9XXC" in your signature otherwise people won't know who you are.

Well done Mike! You'll do great.

You could get a personalised registration to match your name A9XXC ! Just a thought! :ROFLMAO:

Well done Mike, you'll do great.

I look forward to seeing you at many, many 944 events and even more 944 photos in the magazine [:)]

Lord, don't tell him that! ( It may be, just don't tell him). It's only a matter of time before your reply appears in his signature too. New members might believe his convoluted rants about S2s.

Best of luck Mike.

Can someone remind again about the difference in models. I understand of course that the S2 is the best one but I'm confused about the others.

Hi Mike,
Congratulations on taking up the baton-although i no longer have my 944 S2 Bluey-now in wolfie 308's custody. I still go to 944 forum first and would
be gatecrashing Rutland if not in Spain at the time -I know i would have to park away from the 944's-but would love to see a great turnout of them.
Keep up the good work and please take plenty of pictures to look at when back.
Very best wishes.
Ron

Thanks for clearing that up for me Oli. Model range can be confusing for some people. Maybe our new boss can put this on as the forum heading so any new people will know how it works

haha...you guys....keep trying...:)

Congratulations Mike - of course the real test of an RO or RS is at the bar at the workers conference. Again, you have a tough act to follow, but you will get plenty of help!

Congrats Mike, great choice I'm sure you will do a sterling job, after you have sorted out the difference between Turbo's and the others :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hi Mike, don't think we've met, I've not been active with events or forum stuff much for several years, but you seem to have a lot of folk glad it's you, so I'll join in that praise, well done!
Hopefully I'll get a bit more involved this year. I've just un-earthed porka (as I like to call her) from her winter slumber in the garage, starting to tinker again with the bonnet catch today after a 'leg stretch' down the A31...
