The (un)official thread...

For years, many have cried out for more Northern track days!

Thanks to the genius of Jeremy Heney, Team Mangetout, Jamie Wilson, Colin "gravel boy" Appleton, and R18 legends Sound System Simon, Hassan, Brian, Delmo, Tony Bolton (please) and I reckon Judy Baker could show us all a thing or too in her little Boxster (or David's Jag [;)]) and surely Mac and Sue have one track able motor - PCGB are looking to hold an Anglesey track day on 27th April. I will try but bet £££ I'll never persuade Dean to track his beauty.

Make a weekend of it and parade your Porsche on the prom at Llandudno the next day! Drive home via the Evo Triangle.

What's not to like?

Please express interest below or on Melv's thread over on the 964RS section of the forum.

I believe booking details will be in PP next month.

genius you say ?...good man, bang on the money you are there rob [;)]

Much as i'd love to take the credit I think it was probably your high level lobbying that made the difference, so take a bow that man[:D][;)]

Of course the biggest challenge will be converting the 'yeah, I'll do it mate' s to actually turning up......

For the avoidance of doubt.....yes jamie....we mean you !

[:D] zeb please!! How can you doubt a global icon... I shall of course need my trailer, fluffer, full entourage, pit crew, bikini girls... Sponsors, hospitality and a bowl of m&m's with all the brown ones removed.... If that's all okay, I'm there man

All that comes as standard at PCGB track days. See you there ;-)

Colin, we are looking for confirmation of attendees not bad alliteration, see you there too Gravel Boy ;-)

Rob-I thought I had already indicated my intended presence but all depends on whether it gets arranged.
However I am worried about any warning signals being in Welsh[&o]

Rob

We have paid the deposit for the track day......so the game is on !!!!......more details to follow.

Sound System Simon expressing interest!

Might have have some 944 action by then, but if not, Boxster it will be.

That's excellent news.

So from R18 already we have:

RK
Zeb
Vitesse
Jamie Wilson
Simon
Hassan - doesn't use forum but has bought a 993RS to come with ;-)

If R5 and R6 do the same we're halfway there already!

It was Colin.

He certainly fluffed Druids a couple of times :)

Not true,I'll sue for defamation of character-it was only once-& I can't be a fluffer-I haven't got enough hair,nor am I vain.[&o]

Colin....in the name of all thats holy....please god do not google 'fluffer' [&:]

If you do, gravel will be the least of your problems....[;)][:D]

Hope you're not lowering the tone Heney [:D]

Good news is that Jamie says Sean Conboy would like to join us in a Caterham!

That must open the door for Mark Greenwood.

And if Mark comes, the Plank's Boxster would enjoy the run out!

And Delmo's GT3 is crying out for a demonstration of its crushing ability!

Let's make this be a great R18 trip out!!

I detect your "barrowboy" beginnings shining through here-quite a hustler aren't you,Rob-I say good on you, mate -initiative rules OK-with a potential field like this ,I feel the need for a camera mount to capture the excitement.

Jeremy-did the google thing-feeling naive & oh so innocent now[&o]
