Anglesey Track Day 27th April

There you go ,Peter-just think how much that advice would cost you ,on top of what already sounds like an expensive excursion, had you visited the good offices of His Hooliness,Baron Kellock of Whatisname.

That's fighting talk-I might consider using octane enhancer faced with a threat like that.[:)]

Hey! Get it right - I've been promoted to Kellock of Whitestake, I left Much Hoole 3 years ago!

Sounds like an expensive weekend for Peter but he'll go some to beat Jamie who has already sold his car in the hope of finding a quicker one to beat Jeremy with [:D]

Peter, don't just stay on the A55 to Conway and go down the A470.

Instead, take the A494, just after the end of the M56, then go to Ruthin and take the B5105 to the A5. (Turn right on to the B4501 then left on to the A543 if you want to add a cheeky lap of 2/3 of the Evo Triangle). From there, take the B4407 to Ffestiniog. If it's a nice day you'll enjoy it.

Thanks Rob

I will give that route a go. Looks a direct line to Portmerion too.

Any idea what Jamie is getting next ?

He said something about using a concours winning 997 in yellow whilst its owner was recuperating - any ideas? [:D]

I'm sure he'll find something that floats his boat soon enough.

Be fair ,Rob-Peter's already admitted to not quite understanding what's going on here--now you'll get him worried-having to do a Porsche trackday in his wife's BMW.[:D]

Jeez!! I must be on a different level of consciousness to you lot as I have no idea what your on about half the time [:D][:D][:D]

Anyway, I managed to get some track time booked for Anglesey but to get to get the leave pass for it form HWMBO has cost me dear! Two night DB&B at the Hotel Portmerion and maybe some spa time for her too just so I can have some boys toys fun! Ouch!!!

As the track is about an hour away from the hotel I have booked the afternoon session and am looking forward to some good crack with you guys and some track fun.

My first track day so I am the novice really, with only a half a dozen or Nurgurgring laps for experience.

You'll be fine peter....just follow me round....rob does ! [:D][;)]

This sounds like its going to fun ! Hope there plenty of run offs.

Is Jamie really getting a new 911 GT3 RS - or is he winding us all up.

Don't forget,Peter-Jamie is our R18 Media Mogul-so you believe anything at your own risk.![8|]

We've been here before--Rob is usually trying to lap you,Jeremy.[:D][:D]

trying being the operative word colin....

Peter, if jamie gets a GT3 i'll wash robs car!

The suspension is too hard in those and he wouldn't want to risk chipping his rock star smile.....

You can wash my car anytime. Will give me more time to help Colin's fluffers to look nice for Team Mangetout.

Looks like the story's ongoing...

It seems that all is not well amongst the Team Mangetout pitlane babes. There is fierce competition for who gets to be Mr Wilson's grid girl.

Its all well and good him being king of the fluffers rob but he going to look a bit soft in the pitlane with no car.....!

Well I heard he may well have a suitable entry for Anglesey nicely lined up awaiting delivery.

But then the girls tell me that sometimes he doesn't always tell the truth?
