Very straightforward in a production environment with all the jigs and tools to hand Ralph, but I’m not so sure how that translates into the dealer workshops - despite their impressive array of special tools. I wonder how many of their techs have actually done the job, bearing in mind that a core engine problem under warranty most probably results in a full or short engine replacement?
At least all the engines - new and rebuilt - are being given an extended warranty, although I wonder if in the UK it could be 6-years (2 x standard?) rather than the 8-years mentioned in the Rennlist post?
Any idea if UK customers have received this information yet? As usual Porsche UK appear to be late to the party! [
