Any idea what the markings on my springs mean?

Springs ordered from motorsportworld as I get a bit of extra discount there. They list two springs for the C2, 25mm and 30mm, although most places seem to do 25mm for cabrio and 30mm for the coupe.

I've ordered some anyway, will see what happens when I fit them!

Cheers,

and another, need to give it chance to settle but the strange thing is at the moment, it's aprox 20mm all round clearence apart from passenger side, that's 25?

And I really should get a decent camera, the crapberry one really doesn't do a very good job...

Hmm, I've tried lots of varying surfaces and locations over the past day and turned the car around, the passenger front seems to be 5mm higher than the other three corners.

I took the car back up, re-compressed the spring, cleaned the rubber and regreased and replaced / reseated the spring but no change.

I'm going to give it a couple more days to see if it settles, but if not, I might need to return them and get another set, not looking forward to having to redo everything again!

Both front arches were rolled when I bought it, or re-worked. The rears are not.

I'm not certain the springs have settled right.

I've decided I'm not happy, I've tested the car and it seems to go ok, but it does look uneven on the front. As an example, I can park on one surface one way, measure the clearance, then turn the car around sitting that tyre on the same spot, and the clearance varies?

I've also measured height from the same point on the ground with the car turned around, there is a definite difference.

I have checked they are seated ok, and they have had plenty of time to settle. Perhaps they are the incorrect springs? Either way I will be returning them for a full refund and will be requesting to be re-imbursed for my trouble. I am just going to order another set of Porscheshop's own 30mm springs, £273.00 a set so they come in a little cheaper than the H&R and I'll give them a try!!

We will see what they are like - will post up.
