Any Ideas lost keys

I have to say I agree with your comments. I did feel in the early stages of this scenario I was actually doing their job for them. What makes it worse is they did originally go of to check on the options available and came back with the £1100.00 option. It does beg a few questions and also highlights the benefit of shopping around for yourself. To me it also highlights the benefit of this PCGB forum as it's here that Will suggested the H&P link that helped draw this to the satisfactory conclusion.

Just taken my 993 for service at JZ Machtech... asked them about my alarm problems. I only have one (slightly dodgy) remote, and no red master, and am sure one day I'm going to get 'stuck'

Anyway... they'll fit a new motherboard, and supply two new remotes and a red master remote, for £200 plus vat... a relative bargain compared with OPC! and I don't have to make another trip darn sarf to Hamilton Palmer... which is a relief.

Just goes to show, that we shouldn't make any hasty (purchasing) decisions before consulting this or other boards for advice and contacts!
