Anyone fancy a coffee and a chat on Sat morning at the Cat and Fiddle Inn (or elsewhere)?

Six per table for food I think, so at the moment we have:

Erica

Dave

Mrs Dave

Oli

Unless you're both bring partners/friends?

As for meeting outside, that's also groups no larger than six. If need be I can come on my own if we want more people to join us.

Hi Oli, I‘m pretty sure we can have 6 non-connected people at the pub so with you, me and Dave and Mrs Dave that’s 4.... I’m on my own.. I’ll feel like a thorn between two matching yellow roses 🙃... hopefully Dan and Martin will join in too. I’m likely to take my girl for a run beforehand so if anyone wants to tag along let me know... we could meet somewhere convenient for all.

Hi Dave... no, bring Mrs Dave... I don’t think we’ll break 6 as it stands... there’s only been Dan (scrounger) that’s said he may be free in addition to you, me and Oli... and that still leaves one space... I will message Martin just in case...

I text Martin, between him and some other members I’m fairly confident we can fill the 2 extra slots 😄

Be nice when restrictions are lifted. Hope to see some of you at Gawsworth.

Good evening all,

Im sorry for the late response, it’s been a busy one at work today.

I think that I should be okay for the 2nd May, will I be able to bring Mrs D with me on this occasion?

No worries if its not possible.

Cheers,

Martin

I won't know until Wednesday at the earliest I'm afraid but if I don't get called into work I'll see you there but please don't save me a seat if it can be filled. I'll just sit in the car park watching for inconsiderate door dingers!!

Great, so we have a table full!

Erica

Dave

Mrs Dave

Oli

Martin

Mrs D

Dan - if you end up not working and want to join us just shout up [:D]

I can ask them to make it a 7, we’ll just have to pretend we’re from 2 households (?) or equally see if we can get 2x 4 next to each other so Dan doesn’t need to sit in the car park! Would that be better?

The current rules are 6 maximum, so it might depend how strict the pub is on sticking to them...

Worst case, we'll need two tables not too far away from each other [;)]

Just realised that the 2nd is a Sunday Not a Saturday. I must have been using last years calendar.

I can’t make the Sunday I’m afraid 😔. But I’m sure you’ll have no problem filling the slot!

I've left it as 6 at the moment, so Dan can join in if he's free. However, I am now not allowed to come - I've got to have a foot operation which has now been booked for 4th, and I have to self isolate for 3 days beforehand... Rubbish - so no going out! I'll send the table booking details onto you Dave separately - I'll PM for the best contact! Sorry...

OK, I'm thinking we're going to have to reschedule this if it's only myself and Martin. It would be good to get a few of us I think [:D]

How about the following week, Sunday 9th?

Great idea Dave and good to see you are fully subscribed. I shall be in Scotland that weekend, but am usually up for such jaunts, especially if above the Manchester / Leeds line🙂

Best wishes for a sunny day.

I’m going to be out of action from a driving point of view for 4 weeks minimum due to the foot operation, so I’m afraid not... unless someone wants to pick me up!!! Happy to be a chauffeur driven passenger...
