For what it's worth and its been mostly said already, I saw this car exactly a year ago when the asking price was £68,000. I nearly bought it but was put off when offered a derisory trade in on my 993 Targa, and no test drive. The Speedlines were in poor shape for a car that was featured in the showroom window. I also didnt like the amorfend stuff stuck all over the front. In the end he was asking absolute top dollar in the market, and offered me £7,000 less on the price I eventually achieved for mine.As it happened another came up privately at the time which I ended up buying so that killed the deal anyway. I think the car may well be fine but obviously get someone who knows to have a good look at it - and negotiate! They are very good though Ian.....[]

If you can get the chassis number,i can check history that i have.
Mid blue the worst colour possible for trying to keep nice, flat black is easier.
No test drive! they cant be serious about selling then.

I didnt get as far as the chassis number with HWM so I cant help I'm afraid. Both my 993's have been Midnight Blue, and they do show up the odd mark, but they also have a deep deep shine that other colours dont achieve, and which also show the car in a very subtle and understated but brilliant way. IMHO of course!

As an owner of a Midnight Blue car I know all about the hard effort in keeping it clean but it's my favourite 993 colour.
Top dollar, shitty wheels, no test drive, amourfend, difficult dealer ...... I think I have heard enough on this car. Thanks all for you contributions to this post.
Ian.
