Anyone know this 944 turbo?

I would have to agree. There is alot of money to be spent on the bodywork which may not be entirely unacceptable if mechanically it is all there with new bits and a good, recent SH. Ideally you would add a nice interior and a few extras and/or a lower price in the current market.
I'd move on. There is a nice looking black, tweaked 220 either on here or PH for around that money. Looks a far better bet.

[FONT=arial"]Thanks for the comments - Especially on a friday night [;)].

The car is a turbo S with no sunroof - does that make it any more/less desirable?

I also noticed (and have pictures of) that when i looked in the inspection hole in the b post door slam panel, one side was body colour and the other side (rusty side) was black. Is that a new inner wheel arch?

BTW : How much would a fair price be for a car like this? How much would you pay for it? Its just that i quite like it......

Shameless plug, but if it's Zermatt you like, come and see it Rav - then talk money ? Honestly bud, I looked at loads like that and walked away cos they'd just keep swallowing money like it was going out of fashion.

Cheers, good luck with the search,

Mike

No sunroof and type AOR gearbox would point to a silverose BUT that is not MO30 suspension, there does not appear to be any stonechip on the rear end of the sills which looks like a dodgy repair to me, plus the sills are rusting below the door section which is strange as they ususally rust at the rear end.
The drain behind the filler cap below the filler neck has been pushed through water will now be dripping into the sills rather than being drained away, and for how long ?
Worth 2.5k max and you will need to spend that again at least to get it right.
It looks to me as though that car has been stored outside for some time due to the general corrosion.
There are better cars out there for that money.
