Anyone know this one?

Ah yes, had a feeling it might be that. Makes my eyes go funny!!

I love it, but it does look like one of the dodgy effects from the original "Prisoner". Very period, I'd want it in an early 944 as it's part of the character. In black, though; I feel the same about brown pascha as I do about 100% burgundy interiors. [:'(]

These are the only Pasha that I'd have.

Back on topic......lol
Got the text from the owner of what the MOT advisory said - 'O/S/F steering rack arm drumstick has slight wear'
Is this a big issue?
Cheers
Andy

You can look up the MOTs back to 2005 online at: http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECHID-Internet-History-Request.jsp
though you will need the V5 doc number - did you remember to write it down?

Useful facility as it gives you advisories too.

Cheers Vince for the info.

I've now decided to buy the S2 after all my debating!! Picking it up on Saturday[:D] Still really love the square dash, a really lovely car but in some ways similar to my 83 Golf GTI so thought I'd go for something different. Can't wait to get it!

Glad to hear you're getting one, even if it is of the soft type ;). No seriously, I hope you enjoy yours just as much as I enjoy mine :D

... and finally PICTURES of you new toy :D

Thanks Pixie - I'm a big softy! And cheers for your advice too.

I'll get some piccys up on the weekend when I have it ;)

hiya ha, great choice though there all great cars, invest in some good cleaning bits cos the guards red looks great when shiny[check mine after pro-detail on page 3 or 4 of recent 944 pics thread] but less so when dull and pink like, really hope you enjoy her and be careful, for me the s2 feels so much more powerful then modern cars with more bhp[imho], well done h/a and a warm welcome to s2 ownership.... regards jason p

where can you get those. I want I want Iwant I WANT I WANT I WANT i want I WANT IWANT[:D][:D][:D][:D]

The square dash model I very nearly went for is on ebay now - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1983-PORSCHE-944-RED-/230584287971?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item35afe502e3

If anyone is looking for one I can highly recommend viewing this, it really is very sorted. Mechanically sound, no rust - not concourse but I think you'd struggle to find much better - it has been well cared for.

The buy it now price is a little ambitious I guess, but its a really lovely car nevertheless

Cheers
Andy

Great news Andy, I think you've made the wisest choice.

I look forward to seeing the pics and seeing it in person at Rutland - welcome on board [:)]
