Anyone know this S2?

There are some misguided questions on the ebay page, suggesting that the 16v trims mean that it is an S and not an S2. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. If you can establish the level of damage in 2012 (and whether he owned it and that this is when the car was placed on the register) and you want to keep the car then I cant see anything glaringly wrong with it. Id want to see the auction sheet from Japan though in case it had been sold as a repair grade there too... It certainly is not an S, which was only built in the 1987 and 1988 (model years).
 
As a Japanese import will it also have a 180kph speed limiter ? Probably not as its not a home model, but something else worth considering...
 
Thanks for the suggestions, all. The reserve is set at more than I'm willing to spend so not taking this any further for now. If it doesn't sell, I might reconsider!
