You must have been one of the first ones in the country to get one then. Any pictures?

Lovely, so how was your 300 mile drive home, what has impressed you most on the car?
Is it a C2 GTS or C4 GTS? Manual or PDK?

very interesting thread this one with all the different lead times etc. just wondering if anyone has ordered anything in the last few weeks / months and what the opinion is on delivery estimates
Im not looking right now as more than happy with my 991.2 GTS but wondering if best to get organised sooner rather than later….
Cheers

Hi,
Was speaking to my dealer and another local dealer this weekend gone, and was told by both that if you place an order for a GTS today then they are quoting end of 2022/early 2023 for delivery.

So looking at 14 months really, thought as much. Think I will get something ordered May time for a June July delivery following year.

l placed a deposit for a targa 4 last February and have been contacted to spec vehicle
I previously had a 997 targa five years ago
with regard to the speck I am going for lava orange,20/21 inch Carreras wheels, privacy glass, heated steering wheel and fifty pounds for the electric tyre pump
Is it worth the extra money for the sports exhaust and the sports chrono package
your advice would be gratefully received
the dealer has confirmed on the phone the price will be as of the time of order
many thanks

Congratulations on that very good news. I have the 991.2 Targa GTS and it really is a very nice car. The 992 I am sure will be even better. If it was me I would go for both but I haven't got any experience on the 992s so I don't have any reasoning behind this other than my 991.2 has both and I wouldn't be without them
