ORIGINAL: MrDemon would never buy a PDK Boxster and def not one with no X73 pack. going to look at this today, and if it's out of prep test drive it http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/audi/r8/r8-coupe-5-2-fsi-550-v10-plus-quattro-2dr-s-tronic/2670559

Actually I quite like it. My only criticism is the interior is starting to look a little dated but they do go well. If you do buy it let us know what you think when you have done a few miles. Geoff
went t to see it yesterday, test drive Monday as you say the inside could be a A3 which is a big shame, but the Plus should go well, I had no wow factor I must have this car :-( at this price point though I am looking at V12 Vantage, 2008 F430 , 997.2 Turbo S but I bet the R8 plus will feel the best, just not sure I can live with it inside when you look at the new TT inside. if I could fine one with the quilting then that would help esp on the door cards also these are NOT buckets , they are for really fat people, so you move about in them a lot !!!!

Well put some weight on![:D][:D][:D][;)]

A F430 even though it's a 10 year old car still gives me the wow factor when you sit in it, but the pedals are very offset and the 05/06 model look tired no one really makes a car I want at the money I have, which seems daft when you have circa 80k to spend. maybe I will have to wait for the GT4 after all...

unfortunately a lot of people who have kids school/uni fees are a bit older/chubbier by the time they can afford one of these so they make the seats wider for that reasson i was told-the 997 onwards sports seats are wider than the 996 .....as you dont have the £750k to spend on the kids education that i did youre a bit earlier to the game[:D] or you could get one of those fattyboy bodysuits!!!

The spec looks very basic, but will prob suit some. No PSE, SC, A/C etc. A/C and factory SC was essential for me
This car was up for sale a few months back at an OPC. I remember it because of the colour and spec. It was on sale very cheaply compared to the others, I guess because of the spec. I can't remember the price but I think it started with £3x, xxx

Give it 4 months and you are bound to find your desired spec[:D]

non AC in a coupe really slows down the resale. but as there are prob only about 40 R's in the UK with buckets, Spyder wheels and manual some one will buy it. I can count the times I have used AC in my R on one hand, and I don't have it on climate, I use it on for a few minutes to cool the car down when the suns been on it and then turn it off once moving. but I would still want it on a coupe....

But just to let anyone who is interested that the following model company will be bringing out a 1/18 scale model of the Boxster Spyder in White and the Speedster in Blue, towards the end of the year - http://www.gts-models.com/en/ Phil PS - Still loving the Spyder

[/quote That sold fairly quick concidering everyone said the mileage was high. Obviously someone not on this forum and not taking notice and not bothered . I saw it at a lower price to be honest with the mileage. Low milers command the higher price.

They will have spent some time considering the colour scheme and went for black wheels - perfect [;)]
