Aston Martin Comparison

Hi Kenny. If there is room for one more, please add me to the list. Very happy to be later in the afternoon.

John

I would have taken up on this offer except I've already test driven the New Vantage at Newcastle Aston (I'm always on the look out for my next car :) ).

My personal opinion was that once you price one up (you need to do it in the dealer really for option prices) they come out very expensive. (It's not just Porsche that play the silly money options game!). I have a 2015 Mercedes and lots of the interior (infotainment, switches, controls etc) were exactly the same. Mercedes have moved on so you're actually getting last generation Mercedes tech in the new Aston. It was plenty fast enough, I love the external styling and it sounded quite nice too. However it just reminded me too much of my Mercedes. It drove quite similar too. My Cayman feels more Sporty, and is a better B road car. The Vantage to me felt more like a GT car in comparison. Can't fault the dealer, Aston Martin Newcastle have always been excellent. I will at some point own an Aston, I've always loved the styling and wanted one. Some of the most beautiful cars on the road. However it's just too expensive IMHO, I would (and probably will) spec up a 992.

Hi Kenny. I am a relatively new member, but would be very interested in coming to the Aston Martin dealership with you all if there are still places available. Please can you let me know if this would be possible. Thanks. Parvin Bansal

Hi Kenny

Am I too late for a driving slot?

If not Michelle and I would love to attend.

I’m happy to drive Aston Martins and provide feedback to the sales team...

Cheers

Graeme

Hi Kenny

Sounds like a canny day and always good to test the other fine products on the market. I've not driven an Aston since the 90's when I tested a DB7 with a view of swapping my 964 Targa. I loved the drive but in comparison to my 6 year old Porsche it didn't have the same build quality and felt like an old car. I know they have improved immensely in 20 plus years so it will be interesting to hear all of your views.

I'm busy that weekend otherwise I would be tempted to sample the North East hospitality and good humour.

Howay man.

Hi Kenny

Could you stick me down if there are any places left. Looks like it’ll be an afternoon slot - Rita may come along if I can persuade her.

Hope they don’t mind a “lowly” Boxster owner turning up!!

Hi Kenny/Carl,

Hi Kenny,

Unfortunately it is now looking doubtful that I will be able to make Sunday so I am cancelling now to give someone else the opportunity to go

Cheers Peter

Hi Kenny

Can you please include me for the visit to the AM Center. It will be good to see what AM has to offer these days.

Good idea.

Cheers Peter
