I miss the push button on/off my previous 991.2 had and have tried to configure the spare toggle switch on the 992 .However delving into the screen menus the option to do this
seems missing. This means either turning on sport or using the screen menu. Has anyone discovered a work around on this?
 
If you have the Sport Chrono fitted with the button on the steering wheel, It is possible to configure the button to ‘individual’ and then it switches off the Auto Stop..

I am not sure if this is possible without the Chrono....
 
i configured my home screen so that I have the Auto Stop Start as a digital button.
 
I believe that the stored function button on LHS of steering wheel can be configured to auto start stop although I have it set to sports exhaust.
I have configured auto start button as a customised function on the Home Screen, sometimes can be a little slow to load up,would prefer old style button to instantly kill start stop. Pity it does not default to off.
As mentioned it can also be set in individual mode if you have sport chrono.
 
I found the easiest solution is to programme sop/start into the individual
option on the mode switch.I never found the option within the menus for
configuring the assigned switches! In fact there is already a toggle switch
fo sports exhaust so why that is also in the menu I have no idea
Also I believe I’m correct in thinking
the auto headlight function can’t be turned off OPC didn’t know.
