Autocar Review of New Caymen

ORIGINAL: chrisH
ORIGINAL: Buddy Why not arrange to collect on your factory visit in April Chris?
Have you seen the cost for that option, Kevan, not likely? Chris
I collected my Black Edition at the factory, great experience, however, it is a rip off. I went on the net and priced everything up exactly as arranged by Detour, it was less than half the price[]. When I complained to Dertour they told me Porsche will not allow them to use the net for booking hotels and flights for factory collection, therefore we have to pay premium prices. When the tickets arrived the cost of the tickets was stamped on them, they were exactly the same price as quoted on the net. To insult me even more the flights and ferry crossings were for return fares ......Hello, am not taking the car back to the factory[&:] I complained again and they said it was a mistake and would refund me some money, 17 months and heaps of emails later I am still waiting for the refund. As I said earlier its a great experience, but Dertour ruined it.
