Almost certainly the last proper run of the year [:(]

Meet up 10.30 in Tesco Clifton Moor York to leave at 11.00.

Just done the route and got the full length of Blakey Ridge to myself[:D]

Basically Helmsley, Stokesly, A71, Blakey Ridge with lunch at the Lion on the ridge. Still plenty of fun to be had on the way home. I discovered that Morgans aren't that bad.

Two from Knaresborough please Mark. Weather is sure to be sunny and no diversions promised!

Paul & Jane.

We would like to attend but we are out on Saturday night at an event and staying over, as it happens we are staying in the Stokesley area, could we join up in Stokesley if possible, meet in the main Market Place (Town Hall side)?
Let us know if this will be okay and what time?
Thanks

Sadly can't join you on this one, it clashes with my son's second stag weekend (this one's for the Gentlemen i.e. old gimmers) his first one was with his younger friends. We shall be in Swaledale, drinking, eating, drinking , clay pigeon shooting, recovering!!

Unfortunate clash of dates, would have loved to join you.

Add John and I to the list but will meet you in Helmsley - have you any idea of the time and your route to Blakey

Just one point to mention - there is a marathon on the northern side of York on Sunday - should you choose another meeting point?

Hi All,

We were hoping to book a coffee stop but it hasn't been possible, so as an alternative if everyone brings a flask of coffee/tea we will bring along cakes. We will enjoy this in a nice beauty spot and hopefully it will be dry and sunny.

There is indeed a Marathon but starts and finishes around the Minster and headers out the otherside of town, so nowhere near us.

Stopping points approximate times:

11.00 Start
11.45 Arrive Helmsley (Car Park round the back NOT in the main square for comfort break and pick John & Rita
12.35 Stokesly main squar to pick up Tim and Shelia
13.00 View point stop for coffee & cake (Weather dependant).
14.15 Grosmont Station for comfort break;
15.00 Lion Inn for lunch.

Hi Mark

Sorry we cannot make it this weekend the Porsche is still broke in Porsche Leeds, don't ask its a long, painfull and expensive story.
Suffice to say our Italy tour was done courtesy of Carrera 4x4 Discovery GT, its visit to Twisted performance over the summer really worked out well. GO LANDROVER.
The Holiday was good and Stelivio was something else.
Hopefully see you at the next meeting.

Chris

Really sorry to hear of your woes, Chris, what a shame. Hope it all gets sorted soon.

Give our best to Delia.

See you soon.

Hi

Thanks for the thoughts much appreciated. As the car was unavailable we have now promised to take Mum out for Sunday lunch. Disco GT will be the taxi.
Have a good time on Sunday.

Chris

Thanks very much Mark for organising todays outing and the cakes. Compliments on the route, I've just about got my teeth back in after the Grosmont stretch !
My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and thanks also for sighting the possible reason why the inside of his car is a constant sauna.
Nice to meet some fellow enthusiasts, and to see another aircooled and the 944/968's in amongst the more modern machinery .

Much appreciated

hope to do it again soon

Regards

mike and andy
