Autumn Drive & lunch Sunday 20th October

Thanks to Mark and Carol for all their hard work organising todays run. A most enjoyable day. We were shattered when we got back home at about 7.00

Thanks for doing the baking Carol, I have been a long time admirer of your pavlovas but must say that your buns are lovely also. [:D]

Might not make the next meeting as we fly out to Aus the day after.

Chris and Linda

Mark & Carol thanks for organising today and bringing the cakes and shortbread, good company and also good food at the Lion as well, first time we have been in there for a meal.
Looking forward to the next event!!
Regards

Yet another good day out and great to meet a couple of new people.

Hopefully the heating issue will be sorted simply (and cheaply) , for such a great engineering company the air cooled heating system is awfully complicated and a constant source of irritation.

Thanks Mark and Carol for organising a good day out - route made a change driving up Bilsdale - must admit to a short cut to Grosmont for a coffee and comfort stop - don't think the residents of Castleton appreciated us! Very good day and spectacular skies on the way back - fortunately we arrived back at 5.45 - Pickering road busy because they shut the A64 for the weekend.

Have a good trip down under Chris and Linda

Regards
John & Rita

Echo the thanks to Mark & Carol for organising a great drive out and also to Mother Nature for keeping the worst of the rain off until the drive home from the Red Lion. Good turn-out and several new faces too, all to enjoy Carol's shortbread and buns at the top of Birk Brow Hill - great!

Paul & Jane.

So sorry we missed the last run of the year but sounds like you all had a good time.
Needless to say I didn't get called out but couldn't come anyway as 911 in for repairs - nothing serious, just a few issues picked up from recent MOT so taking time out to have it all ready for next year.
Brake pipes, roll bars. bearings/bushes.
Hopefully nothing too serious.
Trying out a new German car specialist in Selby so will let you know if any good and whether Jane will let them loose on her Boxster.

See you all at New year dinner if not before

John
