Hello people ... What are you all up to this bank holiday weekend ? I want to take the 44 out for a run this weekend but dont know which way to head ! Dose anyone no if theres anything going on at silverstone this weekend ?[:)]

Haven't the foggiest what's on at Silverstone I'm afraid, but on Saturday I'm off to Brooklands for the Auto Italia event and on Sunday or Monday I'll be going to Stoneleigh for the kit car show.
Should keep me busy [:D]

Classic Car show At Thoresby Hall (Nottinghamshire) I believe that tipec Has a Section this Year..

I'll be trying to find some time to copy ShaunP and blitz my car inside and out!

I have washed the carpets this week (still drying out[8|]) but the outside needs a damn good wash, but thanks to the clay bar session, cleansing & 3 applications of carnauba stuff on the 3 previous washes, I'm hoping that it will scrub up nicely[:D]

Want to get the wheels off to properly clean the inside surfaces too.

Will hopefully (finally) get round to fitting my brake ducts too...[8|]

Iam off to monmouth on the weekend which is a great ride down the m50, then I will be off to the kit car show at stonleigh on the monday.Covin Porsches are there and I wondered what they looked like in the flesh so Iam going to be nosey![:D]

Off to Brands Hatch Sunday to A1 Grand Prix, and Porsche open.
Anyone else?

At the moment it looks like i might be heading there may be Sat or Sun ... Should be some nice vehicles racing [:)]

Off to Brands as well for the A1GP. Should be a good crack by all accounts.

Hopefully bump into that Georgie Thompson from sky.. [8D]

Enjoy the sun fellas

Charlie

I'll be getting the mot done on the 944 or scratchin in North Wales on my Honda Hornet.

Finally got round to fitting my brake ducts - previous plans came to nought!

Fitted the new brackets and fasteners to the ducts first, which helped me work out how they fasten to the car.

Ended up swearing somewhat when trying to remove some of the wheel arch liner fasteners...[8|]

The outline of where the holes should be in the liner is actually just about visible in the plastic, so half an hour with the dremel and some files and hey presto[:D]

Then bolted it all in - the brackets and fixing points are still in place on these last Turbos, so it all went together quite easily, once I'd got the b****** liner out... did i mention what a bugger that was?[][:D]

Then of course, it would have been rude not to go for a tiny test drive in the sunshine....[:D][:D]

At least there's loads of BTCC on the telly tomorrow. Time to crack open the cider and vegetate [;)]

Talking of the BTCC - I'm going to the Oulton Park round at the end of July with a friend. Anyone else fancy going?

Peter, shouldn't you be working on your car rather than watching the racing - we do want to see it running you know.....[8|][:D][:D]

Lol! It's a bit of a trek from here! Good news is it sounds like Alan's making some real progress now, so it shouldn't be too much longer [:D].

The weekend so far for me has been a bit CRXP...Left home nice and early to head to brands hatch on saturday morning got to Newbury junction on the M4 and the motorway was closed... Took the back roads to reading, stereo up nice sunny morning and a nice clear A road.. took a short cut down a B road went over a hump back bridge which had a curb sticking out about foot, Didnt see it and scraped the alloy...[] Didnt stop until i reached the next village where i thought i might see i scraped 3-4 inches of my front alloy...Got out to see that not only did i take a chunk out the wheel and damged the edge all the way round []but much to my delight i had also badly Damaged the rear wheel all the way round also[][][] .. Then went to Shelsley Wash hill climb today, Total wash out (nearly) And nearly slipped over and broke my neck on the mud[]..Any how lets hope tomorrow will be a better day...[:)]
