Bank holiday weekend ...

White Rose Centre Classic & Sports Car Show, Leeds, Car park 5, 10am to 4pm Monday 5th May, 2008. (I'm going there - it's close!)

Gawsworth Hall Classic Car Rally 1030am Monday 5th May, 2008.

Went to Harrogate Speed Festival today - was the only Porsche inside hall so nice and dry until went home!
 
Going to try castle combe tomorrow for the Husqvarna Springtime Raceday .... Just hope the weather is in the springtime mood !
 
Well the A1 was a success a great day out, lots of great cars,sun was out for most of the day and I think it was Georgie up there in the Sky studio.

Team GB did well, and were unlucky not to do the double, the Britcar was interesting not seen this before amazing that an Opel can go that quick!! took ages for the Mosler's to stamp their authority on the race.

Porsche open had a large turnout and there was some good racing, unfortunately the actual race time was cut short due to safety car as 2 944's tangled[:mad:][:mad:]

The wife's boss runs a Lotus 340 R and came in 8th in the Lotus on track formula, so I am sure he will pleased with his weekends work (fun) and we are grateful to him (David Harvey) for providing the tickets.[:)]
