Bass boost for 944`s

Well, I've got the car back - I've had some sound dampening fitted in the doors and an amp in the boot (4 channel). It sounds exactly right now for what I need - plenty of bass without it being one of those awful tub thumping things, very clear vocals, and plenty of volume.

My main problem before was being unable to hear music or speech of the car was travelling at anything over 40 with the roof down. That's well fixed now.

George,

Sounds like money well spent - I'm glad to hear it.

Somehow, sad as it sounds, a nice car with a good soundtrack is always better than a nice car ....

No problem..just don't get your hopes too high..it's only a 2 channel amp 11.5cmX11.5cmX3.5cm..considering size and age i doubt that it has much power..but you never know..[;)]
Hi Axl, thanks very much for the offer, but it ended up that I had an amp fitted today anyway. See you at Silverstone! George.

Just what I think too - not sad at all! The trouble now is that whenever Beloved is in the car, she doesn't like loud music!!

Don't tell me, she doesn't like travelling too fast either?

You know, I think our respective missis's would probably get on dangerously well .... mine has been known as the Passenger Seat Speed and Volume Limiting Device ...

Reminds me of my trick whenever Diane is driving - I grip the dashboard with both hands and adopt a look of mortal fear, even if she's only parking up in Tesco's. It doesn't earn me any brownie points, but it's damned good fun!
