BBQ

Hi Carl,

Yes it is and I understand that the Aston and TVR club will also be there. I hope to be there but it's my Birthday on the 14th so I may be intoxicated in a bar !

Does that mean:-

a) You will be there, but may not be aware of it because you will be intoxicated in the bar

or

b) You may not be there as you could be intoxicated in another bar.

Have a good one Graham.

thanks Carl / John,

I hope to be there - I may also have a prospective new member with me. My mate is hankering after a 968 so if anyone is coming with one, can you drop me a line and let my mate have nose around ! Cheers.

Yes, it's definitely on folks, and I hope to have members of Aston, TVR, Jaguar and MG along. Bring the family and have a good evening out.

Well it will be my first meet, picking up the car tomorrow night!!! looking forward to meeting everyone. (with a bit of luck, i'll have made a minor mods as well)

Top man - we like a few mods. Well some of us do, there are others who feel that the car should be kept as it left the factory but I can't see the fun in that. [:)]

996 in my garage. Police after me for questions about bank robbery in Chelmsford last week.

Seriously though the missus is going to kill me, or make sure I will never produce offspring again.

I am very poor now, at least I have something to pose, I mean show for it!

See you there!

I haven't been able to get a car any bigger than a Westfield in my garage for 10 years. You wait untill forthcomming small person gets a bit bigger and you've got bikes, and toys, and slides, and swings, and sand pits, and 1001 primary coloured objects all of which are four times bigger than the child they were bought for.

The big question is, will your 996 come out in the rain? I'm sure there are some who think their 996's are made of chocolate. [;)] Only kidding!

That is a tad spooky. I'm sure Joel's avatar changed from a Boxster to a 996 before my very eyes.

GWLS, have you fitted you speakers and are we to get a demo?

I'm interested in this too - I installed the PHP rear speakers but I'd like to hear what it's like with the rest of your mods.

Looking forward to coming along to BBQ and meeting a few people. I have just placed a letter of intent with dealer for new boxster s so very excited. I will be coming to Porsche meet with a few TVR members although I will be in a Marcos Mantis. Thankyou Martyn for being so hospitable.

A Marcos in with the mix - looking forward to seeing all the cars. I think a couple of my long sufferings MG friends will be there too. Should be a good evening. BTW - good choice of Porsche Heather - the one with the engine in the CORRECT place [;)]

I will be in a Marcos Mantis

It's not the yellow one that was at the Shell garage at the Rayleigh Weir lunch time is it? Accompanied by a silver Boxster as I recall.

Just wondered, as BKE was misbehaving badly. He doesn't like ticking over when the air under the bonnet gets hot.
