My Wife had the Dark Red GT with all the Black stuff on an F Plate many years ago, in fact I found my pot of AutoGlym Bumper black I bought for it and used it on the 944 at the weekend!ORIGINAL: wolfie308

Anything other than green... you don't see many in green... probably for good reason, because the only one I saw really didn't work!

Scotty - All I can tell you is that is what the 'computer said'. Readings were from the "Rollers of Truth" at Silverstone, and there were 20+ other 944's there on the day. I have the graph somewhere if you're interested, the exact figure was 221.9 IIRC. FWIW, the year before it achieved 206.4 and that was before the de-cat.
0 - 40 Oil and 99 RON petrol all helps as well.
Maybe someone else who was there would like to comment on the output from their car on a separate thread? My own view is the Dyno was reading a few % high on that ocassion

It was I believe but this is a 1988 2.5L 8V ---- still liking the colour though [
