BHP Increases vs 0-60 Times

Well I have an S2 as well, and even though my turbo is a fair bit faster I still think the S2 remains the more pragmatic choice, the better all rounder.

I just found amusing an S2 owner would mention the 911 for the sake of comparing their performance, as it becomes clear (to me at least) that moving from an S2 to a (modified) turbo puts the car well ahead of any period 911 in terms of performance, making the 944/911 comparison rather "hors de propos"!

especially compared with 911's with all that weight over the rear for better traction

Try launching a mildly tuned 993 TT 4wd [8D] from a standstill..................now that is awesome

A car right at the top of my list for my dream garage !

Me too, the best 911 made in my book

A very generous neighbour/good friend lets me 'test' it now and again [8D]

Fetching miles over book at the moment for immaculate examples (which his is)

I can only describe them as a jet fighter on wheels - seamless torque and acceleration.

£245 fitted by OPC for an intercooler hose made his eyes water recently []

Something a bit like this

God, that's gorgeous.
Over on another forum where I hang about (a non-car one, but one where nevertheless we frequently discuss cars) a 996 owner recently dismissed the 993 as for "the beard and sandals brigade". The 993 in that advert is the complete antidote to such heresy...

What's that? So Jesus drives a 993?

That 993 is stunning, absolutely the mutts, i would personaly not abuse my car with 0-60 testing, my mods are done for "real world" mid range stuff, recently added Lyndsey chips, 3 bar FPR,Bailey DV, to my 220 the midrange 60-120 is now fairly rapid, done on a private road of course.
I would say that she can keep up with most modern traffic [:D][:D][:D]
