Black on Gold

love the different colours!

Be sad if we had all the same colours1!

Go for what makes you smile when you see your car....................

but look at other colours before doing it! ... ,lol

we have all made mistakes!

Anthacite with polished rims looks great!

ohhhhhhhhhhh ...I've done that........... got new polished shiny rims ... first tripout .. SCRATCH ahhhhhhhh sob sob ...

I have a balck 944 myself and I really dont like those wheels in gold , I think those ones posted with the polishes rims looked superb though !

Your Black 944 turbo looks mint , may i ask you are the wheels 16inch ? I fancy getting a set of 16inch Tele dials and having them refurbed with a chrome finish , I think a Black 944 with chrome wheels looks great ! I seen a set of Chrome 16inch Cup wheels on eBay recently and they did look rather nice !!!

The car in the picture isn't actually mine (nabbed it from google images when I was at work). Think they are 16in on it.

I wasn't a fan of the Tele's at first but they've grown on me. I recon they'd look sweet in Chromo espically on a black car.

I want to try and keep my S2 original-ish so I'm planning on keeping the D90's but hoping to add a bit of personality with a custom colour.

I'm starting to think more of a dark bronze.....

My Black Turbo has 16" teles on ( which i do t like) and I think they do need a shinier finish , can you really get them cromed ?

I don't know exactly, but i'm pretty sure you can almost get anything metallic chromed (tell me if i'm wrong).

I've seen plenty of D90s chromed so i'm sure it shouldn't be any different for Tele's.

Although it might be more of a chrome finish (paint or poweder coat) rather than actually having them dipped...

ORIGINAL: Tam Lin

......Your 1970's Lotus JPS scheme looks good, but again, is somewhat linked to that one Manufacturer. It'd be like having a Gulf Blue/Orange Hyundai [:D]

I'm with you on that but, there again, if it makes you happy......

Finally decided on a Colour, Dark Matte Bronze, only problem now is that every where I phone says they need a paint code (which is fair enough as neither of us wants the wheels finished in the wrong colour).

I have contacted the wheel manufacturers and they (and most other wheels manufacturers) are very cagey about their exact colours.

Does anyone have any idea what colour the attached pictures are or where I could find some codes....
