Bored with my porker

Go on, get another 993tt or a turbo s, it will hold up better. sounds mad but hold out for that special colour you realy want, and then put your mark on it, and then love it for what it is.[;)]

There might be a very low mileage Silver RS for sale at Dick Lovett in Swindon be quick

Sound like you need to get another TT and if you want more speed then upgrade it to 520 bhp

You seem to have hit the nail on the head with your original comment that "the 996tt is just too good". I would have thought that a road car should be just that, to enjoy fast (and safe) road driving in this day and age I am grateful for all the "help" I can get. I have owned a Porshe for the past 17/18 years (and older models have been good in their day), but in my opion Porsche cars have simply just got better and better. I personally wouldn,t dream of swopping a 996tt for a 993tt in search of excitement. Unlike to earlier years I am now in the fortunate position to be able to run my Porsche as my main mode of transport and not just fine weather weekends, for me this obviously rules out a GT2 or GT3. Porsche give us the option of equipping our cars to suit our personal tastes and use (eg. power upgrades, sports suspension, exhausts, wheels interior etc). I suggest a 996tt with power kit, aero kit, and sports suspension and various other goodies, should be focused and exciting enough (also apart from looking the absolute business it is also quicker A to B on real roads all year round than just about anything road legal). If you haven,t driven a tt with this kit (particularly sports suspension) give it a go as it has a totally different (and focused) character to a standard 996tt. It also just so happens to be my personal choice and I absolutely love it.

Think an AMD upgrade with milltek exhaust might do the trick.

I like a car to "scare" me now and again - GT2 seems ideal[:D]

Just not sure about using it as everyday transport given low ground clearance.

A trip to AMD is on order already[:D][:D]

HI, just remember, if it is too good to be true - it is !! any hesitation at all, then dont buy it. The right car will come up in the end. I waited 8 months for the spec I wanted, but worth the wait. If I didnt, i would have settled for something that I wouldnt have been happy with and still pining for what I really wanted. Good luck and happy motoring !!!
