Otherwise, any other appraisal is likely be quite misleading, isn't it?
Anyway, for my part, spending thousands on sound to complete against all the motion, traffic and extraneous cabin noise is rather futile. My preference would be to save the cash or spend it on some, more useful bit of kit. But we all have differing opinions on what is most important to us.
It'll be a great car anyway. []

fair point, and to a lot of people, speakers are just speakers. What you get is what you live with.
i just love having a high quality sound in my car. Too many years of cars with rubbish ones. Subaru, Peugeot, Renault. Some of the best ‘standard‘ speakers were in my old MK1 Focus RS.
I don’t think road and wind noise in the Macan is much of an issue. They’re not exactly loud cars, compared to say the 911, or even my GR-Yaris which has a great deal of road noise due to lack of insulation.
i think I ticked some good options, including pan roof etc. so it’s not a peasant spec. The only thing I was going to tick but didn’t in the end (due to the top end hifi) was sport chrono. But tbh, I’m over £72k now, so enough is enough. I’d rather have a great sound system, than the ability to change into sport etc via the steering wheel.
but, we’re all different, so no one is right or wrong
