Bottled it at 135MPH

Mine is 986. Over 120mph not a problem. I would say that it only starts to feel fast at about 140 - 150mph and to add to that would say that I only got nervous because my tyres are a bit past worn. Getting some new ones on this weekend so once I have bed them in I will def try to get past the 160 mark. Will let you know how I get on. Does feel fine and planted though and I have taken bends at over 120mph and feels perfectly planted.
 
164mph in my 986 Boxster S. Absolutely fine. Much more stable than a (track set up) GT3 at that sort of speed.

On the subject of "Pedal to the metal", I have to say that at our recent drive out into the Rutland Countryside I saw you disappear into the distance at breakneck speed........you must have hit at least 40mph before you slowed down on that 2 mile long straight road. Care to elaborate on this as I'm sure (judging by the speeds reached by our fellow PCGB members) your car is capable of going faster !!!!

Danny Boy!! I do believe that i was enjoying the scene, the wind was blowing, trees were wistling,and the sunn was starting to creap out!! Didnt want to miss a thing!! Errr yeah!! Ok, im a slow driver, almost scared of hurting the old gal you might say!! But ill get there!!! Anyone else with me???
 
140ish on Galloway Hills Rally 1995 and again inWales downhill on forest stage in Cossy 4x4 1996 Network Q RAC Rally - confirmed by Navigator, too busy watching the stage, adrenalin is a terrible thing!!
