Hi Guys
Thanks for your offers but i have managed to collate the 6 cars for the display. I will keep you all in mind should a space become available.
You can still apply to be part of the Porsche Parade lap on the Sat (30th). Just contact Narinder at events@porscheclubgb.com
Don't forget also that we will be kicking off 20th Anniversary celebrations at the Register Rendezvous on 10th September and there will be allocated Boxster display parking.
Regards
Tracy

register rendezvous ?

Many thanks Tracy .. Sounds possibly a "better" more intimate 20th get together for us Boxsters [:)]

Hi Tracy & all fellow Boxster members!

My first post as a new member to PCGB is ... to confirm availability of my 987.1 Boxster S, in black, for the Saturday lunchtime parade. As requested, I've e-mailed Narinder to let her know for the target of 15 - although no response yet. I've bought the admission tickets with In-Field parking for the Sat too.

Martin, we're planning to go to the Beaulieu gig too. From what we've read online, the Simply Porsche event looks as though it will attract a very large Boxster contingent.

It would be good to know a bit more about what's happening at the Register Rendezvous in September. Seems like a great opportunity to celebrate the Boxster's 20th starting with a drive up in convoy like the last RR event. Look forward to hearing more news about this.

There will be an update on the Register Rendezvous at the officials conference this weekend.

The Simply Porsche event falls on the same weekend as the Clubhouse BBQ.

Hi Nick

Hope that you are able to post the details of the "update" after the officials conference later today or tomorrow. To mark the 10th anniversary there were several events arranged by the then Boxster Register Secretary, Mark Bennet, including a dedicated Boxster Track Day at Castle Combe. It is disappointing that at the moment we only seem to have the Register Rendezvous Meeting in September at Kedlestone Hall in Derbyshire. So await the announcement.

The event as mentioned in an earlier post at Beaulieu on 5th June looks like a good day out and if we Boxster owners arrived together we would be able to park up alongside each other.

See the link below.
PARK UP TOGETHER
If you wish to park up alongside your friends, you must all arrive together with individual tickets as we are unable to reserve adjacent spaces for later arrivals.

Although arriving together if you wish to park together is the norm at this event, apparently all the Boxsters are to be parked in a delegated area as they arrive and the same will also be organised for the 924’s.

Hi All,
Am a new member having joined the club a month ago having bought my first Porsche last December, a 2011 Boxster 2.9 PDK.
Was at the WEC weekend with the Boxster (have been for the last six years) and took advantage of the infield parking with the club, great weekend.
Have e-mailed Narinder regarding the Silverstone Classic parade lap if required/chosen !!

What an excellent lineup of 986, 987 and 981 at Chester and far more relevant than some of the other 718 launch displays, nice though the older cars at these were.
