Boxster or Cayman

I sold my GT3 for £38k , let's not talk about that .... I do wonder how people make 10% though, as I take it that's a net figure, not real money other wise. I guess there were investment in Russia etc , but I mean safe 10% net gains in the UK, I doubt it. hence why cars are going up, no where to invest money atm so the rich are buying car investments !

Well ive just noticed my cluth slipping on my TT! After an exhaust and a stage 2 remap about 4 months ago! Brilliant! But on another note spoke with an independent Finance company and they have got the APR to 6.3% which is better on a Boxster GTS.

ORIGINAL: dyllan I think it's fine to get a porsche when you're still young I wish I hadn't bothered to save for a house from day 1 and had a nice sports car like lots of my chums It's so hard to get a deposit on a house now if your young you may as well have some fun with a nice car !! You only live once so go for it I used to buy cars with cash but recently bought Linda's bmw xdrive 335 sport tourer on pcp Got £10k off list and apr of 4%!! My finance advisor is getting me year on year at least 10% on the money I give him so I am quids in ;-)

Get down there and seal the deal before they sell the GTS to another punter, look forward to you posting the pictures when you get it.

I haven't quite got a £15K deposit at this very moment mate or I would!

Well i went to drive to test drive the 3.0L v6 jaguar F type S model... all i can say is.... I am very disappointed! Didn't give the smiler factor like the Porsche did. Didn't honestly sound as good imo. Porsche Boxster GTS all the way.

Always worth sampling the opposition Tom!! I had a long drive in the 991gts Monday then bmw m4 and GTR yesterday While the m4 was great fun I found the GTR a bit harsh and firm But neither changed my mind about the 911!!!

Im not a fan of BMW to be honest, the F type was really disappointing and as much as i love the GTR's its just a nissan! Porsche is the one for me, hopefully looking to purchase one in january next year.

ORIGINAL: MrDemon That's a year away, you might have a house wife and kids by then :)
Behave yourself, I defiantly wont be getting a house and I also wont be having kids.....

While I remember, when going for a PCP option you tend to find an independent dealer being cheaper than the car dealership for finance options.. is their any cons by going to an independent one such as oracle? for example.

Potentially. The Porsche Centre will receive commission for selling you VW finance. This may lead to a more generous deal being available. Depending on the difference in rates this may or may not be a good deal.

So as an average... for a new car, what percentage APR are you looking at on a porsche from vw finance? 6/7%?

ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Not worth worrying about now if you are buying in Jan 2016, too much could change.
I've also spoke with Porsche and they said they only made 300 in the UK.. so the chances are when I want to order mine next December there's about a 1% I'll get one unless they bring more out

I know, surely if they have sold that well, logically they would bring more out?
