Look guys, the Boxster name and format is 10 years old now. Let's stop this endless downgrading of the Cayman into a Boxster Coupe. Why don't you freshen up your (I didn't say tired) image by referring to your cars as Cayman Convertibles......

Oh Ho, Ho Ho HO! Let's hear some teeth gringing Nicht Wahr?

Was saving that for MY07 Boxster "S" with 3.4L [:D] Alex hand on vario cams which handle do you prefer for the mid engined sports car be it soft or hard top variant "Boxster or Cayman" [8D]

Actually, Daro old boy, I don't like either! I like names that people give the cars not the names dreamt up by marketing departments. Boxster is clever use of language, Cayman is sort of not a lot really. Plus it gets all the confusion with the four wheel drive Blob. So Boxster Coupe and Boxster Convertible have a symmetry but, Boxster is 10 years old and we all like to be the new bit of kit.
You do know that there's never an answer to this. You like to have the roof down, I like to have a nice spread of tin over my bonce.
When we used to drive single seaters we used to denigrate saloon or GT racers by saying that it wasn't a real racing car unless you could see the tops of the front wheel from the cockpit. But you could end up equally dead in either.
You say Tomarto and I say Tomayto.
I've now done the magic 1500 miles and have used 7000 revs for the first time. It doesn't feel as urgent as my 2.7 Carrera but it has longer gears (plus one more) and is actually pressing on quite well. The speedometer presents some interesting numbers!
How long will I last with only 3 points?
