Brake Discs

ABS is good. Mine works well and has recently reminded me just how slippy the icy, leaf covered roads are. I would not choose to be without ABS in the winter in Scotland in my 944. Worth noting it's always worth a stomp or two even in summer to keep the pump ticking over. I've had a seized ABS pump before and the first you know about it is when you start to lock up in poor conditions. A seized pump in a 944 will not illuminate the ABS light, or at least mine didn't. My pump even primed at 5mph like it should, ECU thought all was good, and it was until you needed the pump to do it's bit! Anyway it's also a rotten job swapping out an ABS pump on these beasts so my advice is for those of you with functioning ABS, is to keep ensuring it's functioning with a stomp or two on a wet road from time to time.

Edit to add: check your mirrors first!! :ROFLMAO:

Yep ^^^^ good luck with cadence braking if you unexpectedly hit diesel or black ice one dark night when you're tired. I bang the brakes on occasionally to check if it's working too.
