Part 2 September 13th 2009
Brecon Beacons and South Wales Triangle Now Fully Booked

[/b]
Following on from the register track experience we will be having a drive out starting from the outskirts of Bridgend at the Shell Station services just off the M4 junction 36 for about 10.00am
The drive will take us over various new roads to ourselves but will include a repeat of the Black Mountain Road which was a delight last time we drove the route.
The end point will be on the Welsh/England border, literary! And a great photo stop.

The route is 155 miles in distance over the lesser known A and B roads, the route time will be approximately 3.5 hours with stops along the way for hopefully a group photos. (something that I always forget to do [:(]) and tea breaks.
We will probably stick to our normal format of a late lunch stop at the end which allows those who which to get away that bit earlier the option of either staying for a bite to eat, a quick coffee or departing.

Having contacted the finish stop they have offered us the option of a Sunday Lunch for £7.50 to finish the day off with [:D]
I will dry run th route at some point to get a better idea of timings and hopefully finish at a nice lunchtime- time
There should be some other food options available hopefully

If you can confirm whether you will be with a passenger as I will need to confirm numbers to the lunch/finish venue..
Its quite popular due to its location...[:)]

Hi Gary
Put us down for the Sunday as well please. Do you have any idea on the Vale Hotel whether they are doing a deal for two nights (Friday and Saturday)?
Peter

One of my tasks is to chase the Vale Hotel, however I can't yet be sure of the best deal without any confirmed numbers..
In confirmed numbers I mean for the trackday to actualy happen/cost effective it does really need 20 cars, at the moment we have 12 interested parties so I'm coming to a decision point shortly, after which I can look into the hotel a little more..

Either way I will run this drive [:D]

15 cars would make it about £165 per car - I, for one, would be happy with that. I've already booked a hotel for the Friday night so we don't have to drive up early Sat![;)]
