bridge spoiler to 944

Hi KS,
I know your not interested in mine (it actually came from ess styling), but, when I bought it I tried to buy one from Van Zeedem the shipping cost was nearly the same as the spoiler--tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bloody much.
If you're any near Castle Coombe next saturday I should have my 968CS down there--you could see my spoiler.
Cheers

Ian

The quality is quite and appearence is good you have to look on the 968 not the 944 bit. They are easy to contract they speak very good english, they are doing the 4 piece spoiler like mine for 325 euros which works out to about £200 pounds i think ! Where about in the uk are you if your are near kent you welcome to look at mine.

ORIGINAL: sawood12

There are companies that make copy fiberglass spoilers which might fit onto the early tailgates. Not sure how good they look compared with the real thing but it might be an option.

I have (since the photo opposite obviously) had a fibreglass replica bridge spoiler fitted. Bought from a well known Birmingham shop and fitted elsewhere. It doesn't quite fit properly and there are clearly visible ripples along the whole length of it. My advice is hold out for an original part if you can as I am only annoyed with myself for not doing so every time I look at mine.

As I have said above I have an original spare that would need some non-standard fitting rigged up - just like the non-standard ones do...

hi fen,

would be interested but i am not very experienced with body work. Do you have the other trims that I need or would I need to get them from some-where else?

Do you have photos of the spoiler and where broken so can figure out how it all connects. Thanks

Kul

I can send pics of it at the weekend. All I can think of that isn't there compared with an original is the rubber seals that finish off between the trims and the body. Typically things like that are not frighteningly expensive from an OPC.
