When I left a 997 GT3 was third, but I'm afraid there were none in the final top 16. Complete grid, qual, results, etc. from the entire weekend here http://www.tsl-timing.com/eerc/2011/113963.pdf

Chris - correct

but there was one great story with the Winter/Speed/Mundy/Morris/Raven 996 Cup car. They had a great run and were I think as high as 7th overall and running as top Porsche after the 997 variant had some major rear left body damage. Then into the last couple of hours AND Graeme Mundy was in the seat doing some amazing lap times trying to gain ground towards a class podium -- suddenly no drive from the gearbox -- 30 minutes later with the gearbox out they found that the diff had failed. Trot down to the similar 996 garage of the Fothergill team -- borrow their spare gearbox and install it. If my calculations are right they got it running and managed 6 laps to finish the race, albeit now down in 19th place. The Fothergill car got 17th and first Porsche home.

NB if you look closely at the car that did the least number of laps, a Porsche 993 RSR -- you'll spot my name !! yes the engine did not last the first stint and I never even got as far as driving it in the race ........ if you really want more info on that I might have recovered to write something in a day or two !!!

Unlucky Paul! [&o]
