Brooklands Meet - January 1st 2004

Yep sure is it's huge!!!! 3.5 tons and the body is all GRP made to look metal. And the art work is amazing!!!

Hey... thanks for comments on the Brooklands day - regardless of the drizzle and the thumping cotton wool head (a carefully cultivated product of the night before) it was a fantastic day. What never ceases to amaze me at these events is the huge diversity of classics that turn up, from the sewing machine tapping of an Austin 7 Ulster to the in-yer-face machine gun of a Bentley. Old and new, weird, rare and mad (said Nemo car)... Oh and good behaviour on the banking!

Hey Stuart glad you posted it. I did think it was Mad to go out for Jan 1st but we really enjoyed it. Much more to Brooklands than I first thought. The track really made you think ,THEY WERE MAD....in the old days..

Can you mail over the paint we were chatting about and the tyre size you think for Fusch I have decided to polish them and paint the background satin black.

Looks like an excellent day, shame I just logged on for the first time in about 7 days - although I think I was probably lying in bed and holding my aching head when it was time to go along. Maybe next time.
