Buying a 944 tonight hopefully...

Looks like an aftermarket fan switch. I don't have that in mine either.

Car looks lovely, like a gold version of my own car and with nicer seats.

I like that colour and always have is it Light Bronze ? , whatever it is I like it [;)] Also the script seats look to be in very nice condition and they aren't always so.

If she wasn't too much money then it looks like a very nice buy , I hope you get plenty of enjoyment from her.

Regards Mas

A car like that is extremely rare now. Early sports bolster seats in good condition, clean 1986 wheels and an un-cracked dash.

I have an un-cracked dash in my garage. I was going to fit it into my 924S track car, but that seems like a waste, so I might keep it safely in its box for a while...

Cheers guys, posting pics wa abit tricky lol

I'm in south east London buddy, don't really see many 944's round here which make mine a little more unique.

whoops didn't see more replies on page 2..

Yeah i'm really happy with the interior and the seats are in amazing nic, makes me that much more confident the mileage is legit.

My dash has got abit of cracking up the top by the windscreen air vents but i'm guessing they are normally alot worse. i was considering replacing too just to be extra picky.

I wasn't sure what that fan button was for and did think it was aftermarket. I might reposition the button to some where discreet then put in an original panel ,again, depending on how picky i get with fixing bits.

I've had fun describing the colour to people who haven't seen the car, light gold, goldy silver, light bronze, off silver etc.....lol Officaially its silver on the paper work.

Ah cheers buddy... yeah i'm loving the clocks too... only thing i might try though is upgrade the dash lights to bright white instead of dull yellow.lol. I was quite impressed the dash dimming light worked still

If the dash lighting is dull its probably the prisms that have tarnished rather than the bulbs that are dim. You can get replacements or go for an LED conversion if that floats your boat [:)]

Is this the same in early dash cars? I know, should know the answer myself....[&o]
