I just thought I' d post an update,by way of a letter from Porsche which closes the matter for me.
I quote" I am happy to confirm that when using your car under normal road or track conditions the fluctuating oil level conditions that you have detailed to us,which we have confirmed are a characteristic of the vehicle,will not have a detrimental effect
on your vehicle"
By oil level I/they mean presssure of course
