C4S wont start

Hi Checked the fuel pump, not to hard to get to, as advised it was under a cover plate under the car, at first I could not hear the pump running, checked if power to the DME, it was OK, checked if power to the fuse (26), it was OK, checked if power to the pump, no power, it turned out to be a bad earth, once I had cleaned the terminal and reconnected the fuel pump burst in to life and when engine was turned over it immediately burst into life, I did also find the oil cooler blower fuse had blown (although I don't think it is connected to the pump problem) I replaced the fuse and it seems to be alright. many thanks to all who gave me help and input. Dave S
