Car valeting

theres a meeting at Bracknell on the 23rd July we are trying to get 40 Porsches there for lunch. for more details and to book (can't garentee you a place unless your names on the list) your places see www.porsche-1.net.

Helen,

Thanks - I guess the guest list is full - I cannot access the Internet address.
This seems like a good idea - a Boxster meeting - probably the only good and free idea from a solicitor!
Perhaps someone else has a wiser idea or can take this forwards; my instincts and expereince on the PCGB web site shows that there is a wealth of both goodwill and ideas and we should take advantage of this if possible. Coupled with socialising it might prove a success...

for some reason the links not working but, it works if you type it in.. you then need to register. (its free) would have e-mailed you but you have disallowed communication in your profile.

[] Seems like it came on and then off as soon as JC got drive the fighter jet it was obvious which of the 2 would rotate his wheels :ROFLMAO: It would appear Clarkson jnr must have lost his Porsche contracts as he has definitely cooled on the brand only leaving James to defend our corner for now [&o]

Started a new thread as though JC's mouth needs a valeting, he still belongs in a thread of his own:

No doubt Mark will see this soon and add something to this string.

Mark who?[;)]

We would be delighted to support/promote/whatever such an event in the Midlands (just let us have a coiuple of months notice so that we can put it in Porsche Post and let the forum challenged in the club see it and join us!)

As we are not in the Midlands, and the only places I know there are Donnington Park and Helens house... a local organiser/adviser/person-on-the-spot-who-can-fix-things would be most helpful[8D]

If anyone has any bright ideas what we can do then please let me know - number is in the back of Porsche Post, or use the email link on this foum.

Unfortunately Claire and I will not be at the Ace tomorrow, being up at 4:30 this morning to get to Goodwood, and getting home at 10PM [:'(] means we are both shattered. Claire tells me I need my beauty sleep, so we are going to have to skip the Ace this time.

Come to think of it, what the heck am I doing logged in now?

ZzzzzzzZzzzzzzzZzzzzz[:D]

Mark im working on an idea at the moment.(.which i was planing for the new Caymen register..but, i've since found out theres other more qualified (to run a register) people than me buying the Caymen. they are also in the IN CROWD at reading so will get there car long LONG before me [:'(]...) for a charity event.. im not going to say more else the dampers will be put on it before it gets off the ground (like with the round robin run)

On the subject of valets, I had my last one done by a man-in-a-van. It was the guy who does the used car valets at OPC Bow, and can be contacted on 07974 005642. He did mine inside and out, waxed and all for £60, well worth it. I have no connection with the guy but would certainly recommend him.
