Carrera 2 with GT3 Bodykit or not?

Hi all. I am currently looking to purchase a 996 myself soon so just reading up on what to expect...must admit reading lee's post put me off, but having read this one, and Paul's comments, it is normally the negatives you hear with people asking for help/advice.( Hope its sorted now lee)

It was refreshing to read a post that had a very happy ending from the sounds of it. Just hope mine does too!

Already got butterflies just looking. Will keep you posted when the right one comes along, or if any1 knows where one may be for sale they could reccomend it would be very appreciated [:)]

Looking at spending 23k and px my 92 celica GT4 Carlos Sainz, from a dealer or just 23K private. can swing either way a little.

Probable year..'98(99spec) or '99 '00 Carrera 4. Can have some mods.GT kit etc, Although I would also look at a carrera 2 and colour is not such an issue black/silver/blue prefered. Has to be a coupe tho, don't fancy a cab

Live in Cheshire but willing to do the distance for the right one.

Been on the autotrader/pistonheads and ebay..So many to choose from.

Phoned about a few but had already sold [:(]

Also any buying guide tips would be welcome

Thanking you in advance and looking forward to full membership and my first meet!

Hiya Dave. Go for it. Have u test driven any yet? That really gets the juices flowing. looking at pictures is fine and dandy but you need to get to the show room for the excitement to really build up and to actually see the eye-candy up close.
I went to see a lovely black c2 2002 which was ok....but when i saw the spoliers on these cars....i just wanted one. don't know why, never really thought about spoilers before, but it did it for me. which i didn't know until i saw it in the flesh.

enjoy the chase.
