So if that's the case aim for 9:30am or so and you will hopefully avoid the queues and they will let you straight in. Just make sure they know you are displaying your car at cars in the park.

email as follows :-
Just under a week to go before the Newby Hall meet
on the 13th May. With one week remaining we are
already nearly 200 cars! Support will end for
www.carsinthepark.org.uk at 12:00 dinner time
Saturday. So get your tickets before this deadline.
I will send out the parking plan and itinerary on
Friday. Once I get a better idea of the number of
cars attending.
Catering will be open from 10am with a full offer
and 9am with bacon butties and coffee. This will
be run by the flower show catering. Nothing to do
with CITP.
I still need an extra parking helper.
8:30 "" 13:00 required (We normally wind down about
12:00)
* Free entrance to you and all in your car
* 20 pounds for your trouble
* Plus a warm fuzzy feeling of helping out
Itinerary (TBC):
8:00 We get there and put up the event tent, as
well as get stands organised
8:30 parking help should aim to arrive for briefing
9:00 Gates open to display cars only
10:00 General public (to confirm as website says
11:00)
12:00 last of cars should arrive before this time
if possible.
16:00 The CITP team will start to pack up, but
don't think we are booting you out.
There is a lot of gear to pack up.
17:30 Newby Gates close
As always, I will issue the final parking plan on
Friday. If you are a fair weather driver and can
not decide. Please put your name down on the maybe
list. That way I can allow extra space with your
group.
Kind regards
Chris Crossley
CITP Organiser
I think 0830 meet for 0900 departure might be a better idea.

If people still want to do 10.00 or 10.30 then we will join you then, or see you later when we arrive.
See you at Wetherby - hope its dry, don't fancy sinking in a Newby Hall field!

You may find without a CITP ticket you get diverted away to the main carpark.ORIGINAL: supersport
We can't do 8.30 so will just go straight there when ever we are ready and park up wereever possible at the time. We don't have CITP tickets but have historic houses membership so can get in anyway.

CITP is a separate event using hired ground space.ORIGINAL: iver rek
CITP entry seems to be different to general (Newby Hall) visitors. 9.00 am CITP entry allowed, 10.00 am general admission. Nigel & Frances - as Geof says you have to log-in to CITP to print your ticket. Guess the Google print will not suffice.
See you at Wetherby - hope its dry, don't fancy sinking in a Newby Hall field!

If everyone was to buy tickets at the Newby Hall ticket booth the event would be a significant loss for Chris and would have no money to pay for the land rent and insurance etc as the only money he makes is from ticket sales and any stands that are there.
I know previous CITP events have been measured in the thousands not hundreds of ÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁ, so as you can imagine, the ticket sales provide vital income for the show to go ahead.

Is it an A4 sheet with some sort of image on that you can read on your phone.
It also has a bit at the bottom that says cut off here and hand this ticket into reception
lee
I haven't been to CITP since Bolton Abbey so I am guessing it has grown a little since that was essentially a load of cars parked in rows. I am happy to support the event, but I am not going to pay twice to gain access. We may not bother and just park the Golf in the normal parking.
I will drag Daniel around whilst Carol looks at the flowers so we will say hello to anyone we bump into. After that we will into Newby to watch Daniel trying to sink the raft in the play ground []
